:wow: I have noticed that I am getting dangerously close to 30,000 pageviews. So I wanted to ask if someone might capture a screen shot for me. Of course there will be  nice feature in it for the one or two people who get it. Or get something fairly close, if nobody catches the 30K. Please note me with the link to your screen shot if you get it. FIFO!

The Season's contest sponsored by Michelle InLightImagery:iconinlightimagery: has ended. With a multitude of prizes there was also a multitude of entries depicting our favorite seasons of the year. Each winner walks away with several new subscriptions, prints, customized banners, stock packs, and nothing less than 30 journal features for tons of new exposure.

Congratulations to these winners

Fractal: Autumn Shades by simonsaz3 Autumn... by Acacia13 Visions of spring.          She had watched seven springs go by through her ocean blue eyes. She had spent each one in bliss. She loved the sound of birds chirping (it was music to her ears) and the return of the beautiful, vibrant flowers to her mother's garden. She was always sorry to see summer creep its way into her world. This spring, she wanted to try something new; she wanted something remarkable to happen.
She asked her mother for some sunflower seeds. Her mother, thinking she meant to grow sunflowers, handed her a small heap of seeds, smiling to herself. But the girl did not plant them.
Instead, she got out her watercolor paints and took out a paintbrush. You see, she had had a marvelous idea: if she colored the seeds and then planted them, and cared for them as she would regular sunflower seeds, perhaps they would grow as a ra
Autumn sun by Bandea On my shoulders by shhilja:thumb103063593: SummerSun rays slip through smooth, shiny windowpanes. Like an incandescent light bulb, it heats up the grazed patch of carpet in its reach. It warms my hand and causes me to raise my head to view the open expanse before my eyes. The grass is the greenest I've ever seen it, lush, and inviting. With a dash, I exit the house and enjoy the delicateness of the springy grass between my bare toes. My hand brushes against the rough bark of the chokecherry tree. I pull it away, sticky from the oozing sap. Laying down on my back on the bed of grass, I gaze upward at the treetops, leaves flapping in the wind, waving a "hello" to every bird that flies by. There is a strong contrast between the green and brown trees and the clear, cloudless, deep blue sky. The gentle breeze cools my sweaty body. I inhale deeply the sweet scent of severed grass and mature flowers. The beauty of it all is enough to persuade you to ponder the reasons of life. I sigh and opine, "Isn't summer the best season of all?" Lady Winter’s First Snow
As heavy lids and lashes part
White hair a blanket 'cross her heart
She's so far down, she lies so deep
Dark is her passage up from sleep
Black feathered wings; they gather round
Her leaden limbs to be unbound
She'll stretch; she'll gather cloud and crow
Embrass the essence of first snow
In gown stark white and blue and gray
She'll spread herself across the day
Her hair will mantle out the sun
And craft a loom where cold is spun
The frozen wind her gift to share
She’ll whisper frost into the air
So soft at first this cold, cold, song
That lulls to sleep the still-green ground
Then lullaby to opera turns
An aria so cold it burns
Oh then she'll soar, oh how she'll fly
Her ice-tipped hem will pierce the sky
She lays her blanket 'cross the land
Her fingers leave an icy brand
Encased within her wondrous flight
Our world, surreal, now clad in white
And caught by her serenity
She wraps us in eternity
