My young friend Jeremy is the second deviant to capture my 10,000th pageview. He is a high school honors student from Arizona and has been a deviantART member since February 20, 2007. Jeremy joined dA under the influence of ~dbestartist, his long time friend irl. Other than being a good student, Jeremy is devoted to soccer and a healthy lifestyle that does not include the use of harmful or illegal substances or violent and hateful activities. He lives by some pretty simple rules like, "Don't sweat the small stuff" and "Play nice". In my experience, Jeremy is an inquisitive person who is not afraid to ask questions and always listens to the answers. I have a feeling that he is the sort of person who is intensely curious about and observant of everything in the world around him.

Recently, Jeremy seems to have found a real niche as a digital artist with his useful emoticons and fun stamps to collect. When asked to provide three favorite examples of his art, he provided these:

An outstanding example of Jeremy's talent with icon art is a 101-frame animation. Others who do animations of this nature will understand the patience involved in a project like this. Personally, I appreciate these new emoticons and have begun using them in my own messages.


"I Support... ME"

Jeremy has also created his own friend stamp recently and is especially proud of the seamless scrolling effect he made for the background. This stamp can also be found in my shoutboard stamp collection.


"Color Coded"

Created in oil pastels this is one of Jeremy's favorite submissions because he likes the color scheme, opacity and attention grabbing brilliance.

Jeremy began down his artistic path along with his best bud ~dbestartist in the first grade, when they first met, and still considers ~dbestartist his greatest peer influence at dA and in the real world. Jeremy admires his style and how well he learns from what's around him and chose these examples of his work as favorites:

Outside of deviantART he lists his parents as his biggest influence, his father for inspiring him to live a "clean" life and his mother for her positive outlook on life. He goes on to speak of his love and devotion for his family and friends and their great importance in his life overall.

In the future Jeremy would like to have a job with deviantART, when he turns 18, but for now is hoping to get a "job" on dAinterviews.com to help interview the people who come to it and looks forward to the possibility of becoming an administrator for ~caribbeanpirates

I believe that Jeremy has a bright and successful future doing whatever he sets his mind to. I look forward to watching where he goes and finding out exactly what that is...
